Audition Coordinator
The Community Theatre Audition Coordinator will manage audition logistics for our productions. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills to connect with talent and assist directors. Bring your theatre passion and join our creative team!

We're looking for a detail-oriented Audition Coordinator to help streamline our casting process and create a welcoming experience for performers. This behind-the-scenes role is essential to our theatre's success and perfect for someone who loves organization and supporting artists.
What you'll do: Manage audition scheduling and room logistics, process online applications and maintain audition databases, coordinate with directors on casting needs and callback lists, communicate with auditioners about schedules and requirements, and assist with audition day setup including check-in tables, forms, and waiting areas. You'll also help track casting decisions and send acceptance/callback notifications.
What we're looking for: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential. You should be comfortable with email, spreadsheets, and basic database management. Experience with theatre or event coordination is helpful but not required. Most importantly, we need someone who's patient, friendly, and understands that auditioning can be nerve-wracking for performers.
Time commitment: Approximately 8-10 hours per week during audition periods (typically 2-3 times per year), with lighter duties between shows. Most work can be done remotely, but you'll need to be available during actual audition days for on-site coordination.
Compensation: $22/hour with flexible scheduling and opportunities for additional hours during busy audition seasons.
