Special Event Audition
We are seeking a dynamic lead actor for our upcoming production. This role requires strong acting skills and stage presence. Join us for an unforgettable theatrical experience!

We're excited to announce auditions for our spring production of the beloved Rodgers and Hammerstein classic "Oklahoma!" This vibrant musical follows farm girl Laurey Williams and cowboy Curly McLain as they navigate love and rivalry in the Oklahoma Territory.
What we're looking for: We need 15-20 performers for principal roles including Laurey, Curly, Jud Fry, Ado Annie, Will Parker, and Ali Hakim, plus ensemble members for the energetic dance numbers. All experience levels welcome - strong singing voices are important for leads, and dance experience is helpful but not required.
What to prepare: Come ready for cold readings from the script and learning a simple dance combination. For vocals, prepare 32 bars of a musical theatre song that shows off your voice. An accompanist will be provided, so bring sheet music in the correct key. Don't have sheet music? No problem - we can help you find something.
Time commitment: Rehearsals begin February 12th, running Tuesday-Thursday evenings 7:00-10:00 PM with some weekend rehearsals. Tech week is March 15-19, with performances March 22, 23, 29, and 30.
Come join us for this classic American musical filled with memorable songs like "Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin'" and "Oklahoma!" Questions? Contact us at auditions@communitytheatre.org.
